How to Order Working Man's Harps
|
The Journeyman combines the reed plates and covers from a Hohner Marine Band 1896 with
an ABS plastic comb, for comfort, consistency, and servicability.
These harmonicas are generally built in advance and shipped from inventory. They
are not available in special tunings, intonations, or other configurations. The
Journeyman is available in all keys from low D through high G, and are gapped and tuned
to the Hohner compromise intonation.
Price is $50.00 each.

The Artisan is built from a Hohner Marine Band 1896, with a sealed pearwood comb
and assembled with machine screws throughout, for stability and servicability.
These harmonicas are generally built in advance and shipped from inventory. They
are not available in special tunings, intonations, or other configurations.&bsp; The
Artisan is available in all keys from low D through high G, and are gapped and tuned to
the Hohner compromise intonation.
Price is $50.00 each.

harmonicas can be tuned to any intonation. Unless otherwise specified, they will
be tuned to a compromise intonation suitable for a variety of styles,
including single notes and chording. I can build these harps for
you in any key, including low D, Eb, E, F, F#, and high G. I can
also provide natural and harmonic minor and country tunings at no additional
charge. Special tunings are available at an additional charge.

beeswax-sealed, wood-combed harmonicas can be tuned to any intonation. Unless
otherwise specified, I use 19-limit "just" intonation optimized
for chords and octaves, but also suitable for all styles of music.
These harps are also available in any key, including low D, Eb, E, F,
F#, and high G, as well as natural and harmonic minor and country tunings.
Special tunings are available at an additional charge. Price is

single note work. I can build these harps for you in any key from Ab through G.

brings out the best in Hohner Special 20s, Lee Oskars, Suzuki Promasters,

offer full-service repairs on the harmonicas that I build. This
includes retuning, reed replacement, comb and cover replacement, and full
plate replacement. I do not offer repair services on harps that
were not purchased from Working Man's Harps. Please contact me for

Harp.
